I’ve been at SIU for 19 years.

Engaging with the students and making Residence Life a home away from home.

Not only does SIU provide an excellent college experience but it is also surrounded by some of the best forestry areas in the state of Illinois.

Whatever God has in store.

I have worked for SIU for almost 5 years, the last 8 months have been with Residence Life.

It’s a new position for me so I am learning as I go.

How great the people are and how much fun they can be.

Learning my new job responsibilities and seeing things from a different perspective.

I’ve worked at SIU for 28 years.

What do you like to do when you are not working?
I like to search for antique glassware at local flea markets, estate sales and yard sales. I enjoy being outside working in my vegetable and flower gardens.

What do you wish others knew about SIU and University Housing?
How active Housing Staff is with the Residents. Housing offers many programs that allow residents to have entertainment and activities while enjoying the community atmosphere, within their resident halls.

What do you wish others knew about SU and University Housing? The number of life-long friendship that are created from attending SIU and living in the Resident Halls.

What is one thing you are looking forward to in the upcoming year?
The variety of styles in clothing, hair and makeup.
