Resident Assistant & Academic Peer Advocate Applications
Applications are available online each year (typically in Dec. and Jan.). Our application process is managed by a committee made up of Hall Directors, Assistant Hall Directors, and current RAs/APAs. We look forward to reviewing your application!
The job description for the positions for 2018-19 are available below. These positions descriptions are updated each year.
Mandatory Information Sessions
Before you apply to be an APA or RA, you must attend a mandatory Information Session. Why? As a resident within University Housing, you may only see a certain part of the work your own APA/RA does on a weekly basis. We want you to connect you with other staff members who can better explain the quality and quantity of work that being a member of our student staff entails. Remember, you are a student first! Please reach out to a Hall Director or Assistant Hall Director in your building for details.
Dates that the application is available online are posted in the areas. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
In your application, you will be asked to provide the email address of a reference. Please be sure to double check the spelling, because an email will automatically be sent to your reference once you submit your application.
