Resident Assistant & Academic Peer Advocate Applications
We are excited to announce that we will accept online applications for the 2018-2019 academic year for some of our most recognized student leadership roles within University Housing between Nov. 27 and Jan. 22. Our application process is managed by a committee made up of Hall Directors, Assistant Hall Directors, and current RAs/APAs. We look forward to reviewing your application!

Mandatory Information Sessions
Before you apply to be an APA or RA, you must attend a mandatory Information Session. Why? As a resident within University Housing, you may only see a certain part of the work your own APA/RA does on a weekly basis. We want you to connect you with other staff members who can better explain the quality and quantity of work that being a member of our student staff entails. Remember, you are a student first! Please reach out to a Hall Director or Assistant Hall Director in your building for details.
The application is available online Nov. 27 - Jan. 22. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

In your application, you will be asked to provide the email address of a reference. Please be sure to double check the spelling, because an email will automatically be sent to your reference once you submit your application.
- Jan. 31 - Feb. 3: You will be notified during this period if your application has been accepted and if you are continuing in the process. If you are selected to continue in the process, you will receive information on how to sign up for a 20-30 minute individual interview during this time.
- Feb. 10: Individual interviews take place - selected candidates will be interviewed individually
- Feb. 11: Group activity interviews take place - selected candidates will participate in group activity-style interviews
